Covid-19 Prevention Plan for Sound Water Stewards

Covid Statement from the SWS Board on 5-25-2021: COVID Statement as of 5_25_21

BELOW was dated 2-26-2021

Most SWS outdoor activities fall under “Outdoor Recreation/guided activities” in the Phase 1 or 2 Guidance from the Governor’s office. SWS guidelines are:

  • masks are required (two masks at the same time is best) regardless of vaccination status
  • 6 foot separation between people of different households
  • maximum number of participants 12
  • no carpooling
  • hand-sanitizer available
  • no sharing of tools or equipment unless sanitized in-between
  • reservation system to avoid check-in or sign-in or handing of payments at the event site (we use SignUpGenius)
  • no potlucks or food sharing
  • stay home if you don’t feel well or have a fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches, or new loss of taste or smell

Because of the fluidity of rapidly changing circumstances and phases, for summer 2021, most SWS activities will abide by Phase 2 guidelines limiting the number of participants to 12 (not counting the leaders or presenters).
