The Trudy Sundberg Lecture Series Planning Committee is pleased to announce the 6th annual event featuring a moderated conversation with Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha and Enrique Cerna. This will be a virtual presentation on Friday, May 7th starting at 5 PM. Like previous in-person lectures, this one will feature a Trudy Tribute speaker and audience Q & A. Unlike other lectures, however, it will be one day only, and it will not be recorded. For more details, including the link for the program, please see the attached flyer.
Dr. Hannah-Attisha is the physician who went public with the Flint water crisis, challenged the erroneous statements of the Michigan Governor and the findings of the State Health Department, and made the tragic lead poisoning, primarily affecting thousands of young children, a national issue. Mr. Cerna is a well-known Northwest regional broadcast journalist who was affiliated with KCTS for many years.
For more information about Dr. Mona, a true national hero, and why we are excited to have her as our 6th Trudy Sundberg Lecture Series speaker, please see the attached biography.
I hope you will share this announcement with your friends, neighbors, and associates and join us on the 7th of May.
Please help us make this memorable event an outstanding success.
