Of the four Voices for the Salish Sea, Annie Crawley’s closing presentation represents the Voice of Inspired Action. Everything we do on land affects our oceans and seas. They represent the heart of our planet and with the incoming and outgoing tides, they breathe. Our oceans and seas face incredible challenges right now. Annie’s message to “Dive Into Your Imagination” encourages people to fall in love with our Sea because we protect what we love.
Through her astonishing underwater photography and aspirational words, Annie asks us to become one with the Sea – to immerse ourselves in its unique beauty, its fragility and its call for protection. There are steps we can all take to preserve this precious region, and Annie’s inspirational call for our action echos that of the Sea.
