stormwater drain

About the Class

11:15 AM - 12:15 PM Session 2
Speaker: Tim Gohrke

During the rainy season (winter), volunteers collect samples at public outfalls, particularly after major rain events. Samples are then tested for six attributes of pollution that comprise stormwater runoff. Sound Water Stewards have teamed up with Friends of Skagit Beaches to assist with their expansion of stormwater survey data collection!

In this session, you will learn about the framework for success at tackling water pollution problems in the Salish Sea and how you can help be a part of community science!
