Washington State is home to no fewer than 12 shark species with many occasional visitors. They vary in size, shape, and residence time but play an essential role in the health and vitality of the Salish Sea. During this presentation, we will explore the diversity of Washington’s apex marine predators with hands-on learning, followed by shark research progress, and new discoveries.
