Sound Waters University 2020

  • Registration for SW.2020 is CLOSED

    We reached the venue's capacity earlier than expected, so registration closed on Jan 10th at 5 pm (vs the planned Jan 20th)

    • Those who have registered have already received email confirmations, and will receive an email confirming their classes no later than Wed afternoon, Jan 29.
    • NO TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT THE DOOR.

Saturday, February 1, 2020

  • 8:00 am - Check-in begins - pick up your registration packet, enjoy coffee/tea and the exhibits before the keynote starts.

    Note - the school has strict limits on what can be brought into the auditorium - no food or beverages (only exception is  water in a covered container) - so you will need to finish your coffee or tea before moving to the auditorium for the Keynote.

  • 9:00 am - Welcome and Keynote - WHALES OF THE SALISH SEA - A Sea of Change by John Calambokidis
  • 10:30 am - morning break
  • 11:00 am - Morning Session - classes begin
  • Throughout the day  - Displays/Exhibits staffed by state and local experts will be available for browsing.  The LEP Gift Shop (Lighthouse Environmental Programs) table will offer many environmental items for purchase
  • 12:15pm-1:30 pm - Lunch, Displays/Exhibits
  • 1:30 pm - First Afternoon Session - classes begin
  • 2:45 pm - afternoon break
  • 3:15 pm - Second Afternoon Session - classes begin
  • 4:30 pm - End of day.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle ...

  • We are working to make Sound Waters plastics free!
  • Please try to bring a reusable drink container with cover.
  • We will also have a supply of compostable cups for coffee and water available throughout the day.
