April 28- May 2, 2025
Join the Sound Water Stewards team to help save the Pacific Northwest’s iconic salmon and steelhead. Let’s have some fun together (but from the comfort of your own home…)
Sound Water Stewards is participating in Survive the Sound. This online game uses funny fish avatars to represent real steelhead (a fish similar to salmon) that were tracked during research efforts led by the local nonprofit, Long Live the Kings. The tracking data lets scientists understand why the fish are dying. The game is fun and educational.

Pick your favorite fish at SurvivetheSound.org and join our team, Sound Water Stewards. A larger team increases our chances of winning with the most surviving fish. We could win a boat trip for up to 120 people, and there are individual prizes too! From April 28 – May 2, we’ll watch the fish migrate from their native river to the Pacific Ocean and see who survives. There is no charge to participate, but you can consider donating to Long Live the Kings on the Survive the Sound website.
Also please consider inviting friends and family to share the fun and help grow the Sound Water Stewards team.
