On March 16, 11 am to 1 pm, Kathryn Wells of Camano Island, who works for the Snohomish Conservation District. Kathryn will share landscaping and water storage ideas that can help us be good stewards of the rain that provides our drinking water and keeps our beautiful landscape evergreen.

Whether we’re concerned about our summers getting drier or seawater intrusion worsening, we can help ensure that the rainfall we receive provides the most benefit for our landscape and our community.

City Administrator Shawn Smith will also give an update on the Stanwood Dike restoration project.

Lunch will be provided by Island Girl’s Catering – menu coming soon. The cost of lunch is $18.54 (which includes a 20% gratuity for the catering staff.)
