Did you know high school students attended Sound Waters University? High school students were provided scholarships to attend Sound Waters University thanks to Sno-Isle Sierra Club. The students recently shared what they learned by attending Sound Waters University. They learned about the fragility of the marine environment, with how few Orca remain with Keynote Lynda Mapes. They also learned importance of protecting the ecosystem through Rock Fish Recovery with Day Lowry’s (NOAA) class, and the role Bull Kelp plays during Florian Graner’s class, and how we as individuals have a role in the health and sustainability of the Salish Sea. To those who could not attend: Purchase recordings for a limited time.
