During the rainy season (winter), volunteers collect samples at public outfalls, particularly after major rain events. Samples are then tested for six attributes of pollution that comprise stormwater runoff. SWS is excited to team up with Friends of Skagit Beaches to assist with their expansion of stormwater surveys data collection.
