6State Parks involved in programming and projects See Our Impact
SWS is pleased to partner with Washington State Parks for some of our educational programs. We work with Central Whidbey parks to run things like field trips, beach walks and JR Ranger programs. We also worked on some video productions together during the pandemic.
We also work with Deception Pass providing them with interpreters for the tide pools and with Camano Island State parks where our volunteers are in the field helping with events and programs.
Our partnership with State Parks gives us the opportunity to reach many people and provides us with our office space at the Admiralty Head Lighthouse.
