
Fort Casey State Park is seeking a grant to add exterior exhibits related to lighthouses and to improve amenities for better accessibility. They seek your letters of support to be submitted by May 31, 2020.
This project will provide accessibility upgrades at Admiralty Head Lighthouse at Fort Casey State Park. The lighthouse, one of the most popular attractions in the state park system, lacks accessible visitor amenities. This project will complete the design and construction of accessible parking and restroom facilities, provide an accessible route-of-travel to and from the lighthouse and an adjacent viewing area, and develop in-depth outdoor interpretation of the lighthouse and Admiralty Head for visitors who are unable to access the interior of the lighthouse.
