- Come build a trail at this new North Whidbey preserve.
- Difficulty Level: Hard (Volunteers should be prepared to hike 1.5 miles each way on uneven terrain while carrying tools)
Biochar Prep Work Party – Saturday, September 24, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
- RSVP required. Join us at Keystone Preserve to learn about and assist with preparing wood for biochar. This work party will focus on lifting and moving large woody debris. Recommended for volunteers who are comfortable carrying 50 pounds or more.
- Difficulty Level: Hard (Volunteers should be prepared to hike 1.5 miles each way on uneven terrain while carrying tools)
Crockett Lake Blackberry Round Up – Tuesday, September 27, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Join us at this preserve in Coupeville removing blackberries and other weeds from a restoration site.
- Difficulty Level: Moderate
