Meet author Rob Verchick, one of the nation’s leading climate policy scholars and part-time resident of south Whidbey, in conversation with Linda Irvine, discussing his new book, “The Octopus in the Parking Garage: A Call for Climate Resilience,” at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts on Friday, June 9th at 7:30pm. Verchick, who is wrapping up a national book tour, will discuss the challenges facing Whidbey Island and other places we love—and suggest how we can make things better!
