SWS Annual Volunteer Fair

Join Sound Water Stewards Staff and Project Leads to learn more about our projects, meet and speak to the Leads, and select a few projects to volunteer with. We have this planned for our new VET students to get to know the program, but all Stewards are invited to participate, attend, or just come meet some of the 2026 VET students!
After everyone gathers, the Project Leads will have about three minutes each to formally present their project to the entire group. Then, the Volunteer Fair opens up to a period where students and Stewards can walk around and view tables set up with displays and information about specific projects. During this time interested volunteers can talk to the Project Leads about their project and how to get involved. Amid it all, enjoy some good old-fashioned socializing with your fellow Stewards. We hope to see you there!
The Camano Island volunteer fair is 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Camano Island Library.
The Whidbey Island volunteer fair will be 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall in United Methodist Church, Coupeville.
For Stewards wanting to work the event, Please RSVP by sending an email to one of the addresses below so we can plan accordingly. Please plan to have a few tabling items for show – charts, and pictures and poster with bullet points. Plan to have one or two members of your committee there to talk to the people. If you are unable to attend, please assign another member of your team to join us.
