Stewards Needed for Education On Whidbey

August 2, 2022 @ 2:00 pm 4:00 pm

June 22 & July 14 – Readiness to Learn, Barnacles and Seaweed Nature Journaling, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm (need 1-3 Stewards)

July 16 – Fort Casey State Park – Low-Tide Beach Walk, 12 noon (need 2-4 Stewards)

August 2 – Double Bluff – Low Tide Beach Walk, 2 to 4 pm. In this Library Walk, SWS will present on marine life, low tide, Double Bluff geology. Wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear; hat and sunglasses recommended. This free outdoor program is part of the Freeland Library’s summer-long Library Walks series. Visit a new South Whidbey location each month in June, July, and August to learn about Whidbey’s local gems and complementary library resources. (need 2-4 Stewards)

Aug 11 – Night Hike – Fort Casey State Park, 9 to 11 pm (need 2-4 Stewards)
