NEW Volunteer opportunity training: Wildlife Transporter
July 22 @ 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Salish Wildlife Rescue (formerly Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center) is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to the well-being of wildlife and their habitats through rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife, public education, and non-invasive research. Located in Friday Harbor, they service the entirety of San Juan county, as well as islands Whidbey, Fidalgo, and Camano.
Due to their location on San Juan Island, staff members from The Salish Wildlife Rescue are not able to quickly respond to animal calls on other islands and the mainland. As summer is ramping up, they are seeking a network of volunteers who can help by transporting injured wildlife to Salish Wildlife Rescue.
