Kelp and eelgrass risk assessment results workshop

The UW Puget Sound Institute, in collaboration with the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife, has led a spatially explicit risk assessment of current and future threats to eelgrass and floating kelp habitats in Puget Sound. An online workshop on August 4 will offer a deeper dive into the cumulative risk results, with time for discussion and feedback to help shape the final products.

The completed kelp threat rating, an early product of this work, is available for review prior to the workshop.
