DESCRIPTION: “The Center is a place of learning and a source of civic pride for the Tulalip people and our neighboring communities. You will have the opportunity to experience the journey of the Tulalip people. You will learn about our traditional territories, the importance of the cedar trees, our seven value stories, and seasonal lifeways. As you walk through the Canoe Hall you will experience our homelands from the mountains to Tulalip Bay. Featured in the Canoe Hall are historic canoes and archaeology from various sites throughout Snohomish County.”

GUIDES: Qualified Tribal Cultural educators such as Courtnie Reyes lead the tours and introduce the legacy of the Tulalip Tribes. You will experience the Tulalip longhouse by sitting and listening to recorded stories by Tulalip’s gifted storytellers. 

LOCATION: 6410 23rd Avenue NE, Tulalip, WA 98271, 360-716-2600    
From I-5 North of Everett take exit 199 Marine Drive NE in Tulalip WA. Head West.

START TIME: 12:30. Please be 15 minutes early. Remember it’s a long drive. Jack Burchard will coordinate group ticket purchase so stay together as a group for entry. DURATION: 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your interest in exploration after the formal presentation.
