- March 11 @ 10:30am – 12:30pm General Education Workshop on Noxious Weeds led by Seth Luginbill, staff to Island County Noxious Weed Control Board
Each Know Your Weeds Workshop is followed by Weed Identification and Removal Work Party led by Seth Luginbill, staff to Island County Noxious Weed Control Board

- April 14 | Poison Hemlock
- 10:00 am – 10:45 am weed workshop
- 11:00 am – 1:00 pm work party
- June 23 Tansy Ragwort
- 10:00 am – 10:45 am weed workshop
- 11:00 am – 1:00 pm work party
- August 11 |Thistles
- 10:00 am – 10:45 am weed session
- 11:00 am – 1:00 pm work party
Each public education workshop will be followed by a work party to identify and learn the techniques to remove the weeds that are blooming at that time (except March 11).
Work parties will make a big difference to Port of Coupeville which runs this wonderful public space. Many many volunteers are needed at each work party!
Free. Donations accepted. Public is welcome to attend. Rain or shine; come prepared for weather.

- long sleeves
- pants
- closed toed shoes or boots (no sandles)
- water and/or water bottle
Optional Gear:
- hat
- sunscreen
- mask
- eye protection (sunglasses or eyeglasses or safety glasses)
- hand tools for weed removal
