
Greenbank Farm Weed Control Workshop and Work Party

Poison Hemlock is a widely invasive. It is toxic to humans, dogs and other animals. Seth Luginbill of Island County Noxious Weed Control Board teaches how to identify and eradicate Poison Hemlock. Learn why when and how to remove it. Practice and hone your removal skills while removing this dangerous weed from a field at Greenbank Farm to benefit the local community.

The dates listed below are part of a series of Public Education “Know Your Weeds” Workshops and Weed Removal Work Parties
Each public education workshop is followed by a work party to identify and learn the techniques to remove the weeds that are blooming at that time.

Work parties make a big difference to Port of Coupeville which runs this wonderful public space. Many many volunteers are needed at each work party!
Free. Donations accepted. Public is invited and encouraged to attend. Rain or shine; come prepared for weather.
