Robert Steelquist will present
- an overview of Garry Oak natural history in the Pacific Northwest,
- restoration efforts on the Sequim Prairie,
- Garry oaks in deep time and Indigenous ethnobotany and
- implications in a changing climate.
He is a Sequim-based naturalist, writer, photographer and environmental educator. His experience and interest in Garry oaks spans a lifetime of living among oaks of the Pacific Northwest. Questions: email olympic@wnps.org.
