Coupeville Wharf 120th Anniversary Celebration

2025 marks the 120th anniversary of the historic Coupeville Wharf on Whidbey Island’s Penn Cove.
The Port of Coupeville invites you to celebrate this milestone with us!
We’re thrilled to welcome one of the last remaining Mosquito Fleet ships, the historic Virginia V, to the Wharf celebration! Step aboard and enjoy guided tours during the event, and don’t miss your chance to join one of two special Penn Cove cruises!
The Anniversary Party kicks off at noon with a ribbon cutting to mark the completion of six years of Wharf rehab work.
Special anniversary activities include:
Kids Crafts, live music, beer garden, local foods and drinks, Penn Cove marine exhibits!
SOUND WATER STEWARDS will be hosting a table, featuring a live webcam viewing what is happening in the water under the wharf! Contact Allie Hudec at education@soundwaterstewards.org to volunteer!
