Canoe Journey pass by Camano

Sometime during the day of Wed, July 26, paddlers from many Salish Sea tribal nations participating in Canoe Journey will pass through Saratoga Passage between Whidbey and Camano Islands.
Time is weather and canoe speed dependent. They are paddling from Swinomish Tribe to Tulalip Bay.
We expect Cama Beach State Park to be a lunch break stop during their paddling day on July 26 with that day’s destination as Tulalip Tribes. Final Destination is Alki Beach in Seattle on July 30, hosted by Muckleshoot Tribe, followed by a week of ceremony, protocol and sharing (July 31 to Aug 6) at the (new) Muckleshoot Community Center in Auburn. This year, Muckleshoot is the host of this event that brings together tribal nations paddling from Washington and British Columbia.
