Healthy Watersheds – Healthy Beaches

Learn from the award-winners: Stewardship Practices for Living in a Watershed  (or What color is Your Watershed?)

At the home of Pat and Tony Vivolo, Camano Island, Class of 2020, phone: 360-387-4647 or 206-276-5852

Pat and Tony were recognized by Snohomish Conservation District as ambassadors for native plant landscaping. They have worked for years to create a healthy native plant habitat on their high bluff sloping property.

Learn how their forest management plan and wildlife habitat certification is helping protect the watershed. See how they have integrated native plants into their landscape and have left other areas untouched.

Tour of their property is about 1.5 hours. Park on the road or drive down driveway to park between house and garage. Property is sloped and field trip requires walking around the property.

Driveway is marked with a SWS sign.
