Learn about Poison Hemlock and how to address it at this April 14 hands-on workshop with Sound Water Stewards and Island County Noxious Weed Program at Greenbank Farm. Workshop on noxious weeds is intended for a public audience. Island County weed control expert Seth Luginbill will talk about identifying invasive weeds, techniques to remove them. Then SWS plus other volunteers will remove weeds onsite at Greenbank Farm.

Jack Hartt starts far out in space and touches on the works of Sir Isaac Newton. Hartt then brings it all down to sea level with an understanding of how the solar system creates tides on Earth and why they can be predicted and printed on calendars years in advance.
