Board Term 2023-2024
Gaylen joined SWS in 2019, completing her training with a smile! Gaylen soon joined the Camano Steering Committee and then took the Steering Committee lead. Gaylen’s commitment to the environment drives her passion. She is a true tree hugger for many many years and happy to share that with others. She believes strongly in giving back to our community and volunteers for Camano Center as well as Sound Water Stewards.
Recently retired, Gaylen has a background as a medical software analyst. She installed several Emergency Department applications for physician documentation. Gaylen loved her career and embraced technology for patient health. Gaylen enjoys spending time with her family – husband Mike, two sons and their families, and of course, her two playful “dog kids” Layla and Bo. She loves sharing what she learns in SWS with the grandkids. When not volunteering, Gaylen and Mike often go camping in their RV.
